Weekends

The dilemma when you want to go out because you don't want to miss out on all the happenings in life but at the same time wants to stay home and do nothing after a long week of working.

Too short for everything.

Haiz.

Gold Coast (Part 2)

Continuing from where I stop.

Day 1

Finally decided that we spent enough time on the observatory Deck (Sky Point Observatory Deck) when our stomachs started growling.

Roam around in search for dinner.

And mandatory visit to Hard Rock to look at the mechandise everywhere we go!

Us and the signature Hard Rock Guitar Sign :D

Decided to settle for dinner in some Irish Bar.
The cute winkly man outside the bar. *wink wink*

And here's their draft beer selection!
Noob in beer not sure if there's any particular MUST TRY.

Later on headed to Woolworths to do some grocery shopping.
Think it is the largest supermarket chain in Australia.

Love visiting supermarkets overseas and be amazed by the unique stuffs they offer!

Then headed back and ended the night early. My trusted buddy fell aslp almost immediately after washing up. I flipped through the channels, attempted to do some random sketching and joined her in our dreams shortly after. If only everyday is so chill lax.

(to be continued..again..)

Gold Coast (Part 1)

Writing about this already make me miss the beach. The kangaroos. The koalas.
And the way things move at such slow pace.

I really wish my trip was longer but still thankful to have a break.
Get out of the country to relax for a while.

Day 0
Finished work. Rushed home. Had dinner. Rushed to airport.
Don't even have time to register any excitement.
Everything seems so surreal.

Me in my comfy outfit for the night flight.

Damn shag. Slept like a baby on the whole 8 hours flight.
Wanted very much to make full use of the flight entertainment but my eyelids wouldnt cooperate.

And thanks to Etihad for providing comfort food, comfy pillows and blankets. It's just sleep and wake up to eat and sleep and wake up to eat again and sleep. I dont have a picture but they even provide comfy socks and ear plugs! So very thoughtful <3 p="">

Day 1
So eat sleep eat sleep eat sleep and woke up to Australia in the morning!

Arrived at Brisbane Airport and took a coach transfer to Mantra Legends in Gold Coast. Was about an hour away.

So we wanted to stay away for the coach ride. To take in all the sceneries along the way to the hotel. Haha everything is paid with money might as well make every minute worth. Keep saying "Kuai dian kan Kuai dian kan, huan qian le" Lucky my companion shares the same cheap humour.

Gold Coast!
Cant wait to get to the beach. And I Sua Ku (country pumpkin mode) never see wild seagulls before.
Da-Ta!

Looks cute but actually pretty aggressive. Saw a few picking a fight and biting each other's head off.

Our shag face. was super windy on the beach.

The cliche saying that goes, leave nothing behind except foodprints.

And ours look pretty ugly compared to the seagulls'

Lots of different choices for food. We had our lunch in a nice and quiet restaurant. Vapiano. Kind of like a cafe setting. It's quite interesting. They have lots of potted plants inside.

Waiting for the girl to bring the food to me. Haha!

Went exploring for a bit then headed back to the hotel to book tours and rest for a bit. Everywhere I go, I must NUA. But really was quite tired. I didnt even realise i fell asleep for a while in the hotel.

Picked and selected a few tours and booked with the hotel. Saves all the hassle. Hotel Guest gets 10% off all tours! Thank you Mantra Legend and the friendly counter staffs.

We bought a unlimited access 3 day passes including Dream World, White Water World (the 2 are basically just next to each other and we figured we can do both in the same day) as well as Sky Point Observatory Deck. Sky Point was just a walk away and we headed over in the evening.

I must say the view is awesome!

I can stay up here forever! Im in love <3 nbsp="" p="">

Had time for some coffee.

Then it was back to snapping non-stop! But actually all look pretty similar.
Here's a few.

Everything look so dreamy to me. I mean MBS area is beautiful but it's nothing like that. Tiny little lights beaming through the dark.

And the good thing on top was we get to tap on free and fast wifi!
Hahaha so hard to get wifi over there.

Shall continue in a bit..

Time to move on.

Hasn't been a good one right from the start.
When things are giving you too much unhappiness then maybe it's really time to move on.
And when you are unhappy, everything around you seems to be against you.
Lady luck becomes your nemesis.
So her BFF rotten luck took her place.

On the bright side, it helps to make decision making easier. TIME TO MOVE ON!

But still really thankful for good friends, good food, good drinks, good health, good nights, good air (not really with the PSI level escalating). Reminds me I have a friend's father who will always update the daily PSI level over their family whatsapp group. Like some weather forecast man. Mad hilarious. But he's just genuinely concerned about the family's health. Loving father is loving regardless of the way he shows his love for the family.

Shall do a post on my Gold Coast Trip soon. Beach. Sun. Babes. Hunks. Seagulls. Kangaroos. Koalas. Good friend. Because writing about happy stuff should make me happy.

Quarter life crisis

Feeling it. Every aspect of life. Everyday.

Everyday I question myself what I want to do for life? What are my passion? Where is my faith? What are my goals? Where am I heading? Which direction to head towards? Am I making the right decision?

This empty and vulnerable feeling:(
So much insecurity and confusion.

20 facts about my life

Everyone is tagging each other to do this on instagram, some on Dayre.
Shall do one about myself on this blog. #20factsaboutmyself

So here goes:
1) I guess I was a happy child since young. My kindergarden teachers used to call me "Kai Xin Guo" because I was smiling and laughing so much all the time, direct translation meaning a happy nut. (The real English translation is just Pistachios)

2) I really enjoy drawing though I'm not that good at it. Sourcing for a good art class.

3) I had my first crush at the age of 5 #loveknowsnoboundary #definitelynotage #notreally

4)  I enjoy watching horror or gore movie. ALOT! haha sadistic I know but I think im hooked on the thrill.

5) The country I want to visit most is really India. If not for safety concerns, would have packed my bag and left. Love exotic places.

6) Want to go on a backpacking trip on my own one day.

7) Was the typical over enthusiatic kid in school that wants to answer all the teacher's questions and volunteer with everything. No idea what I was thinking.

8) I was in Indian Dance in my Primary School days. Haha linked to the previous point. Since I like to volunteer with everything when my teacher asked who's interested, my natural instinct have to be raising up my hand! Me!

9) Used to be the tallest in class but stopped growing ever since:( Now I'm probably the shortest everywhere I go.

10) I can watch cute baby videos all day. #maternityinstinctwithin

11) Favourite kind of holidays: Sun. Beach. Friends.

13) Being hungry makes me angry. No wonder i'm destined to be fat:(

14) Love to sing but I only sound good enough for the bathroom.

15) I believe in a few good friends more than a million acquaintances.

16) I hate salesman and insurance agent.

17)  I really am a half Malaysian. My mum was a Malaysian. I was born there but grew up here in Singapore.

18) Kind of delay study for a year so I'm one year older than most of my peers while growing up.

19) The most ridiculous first date I have been on is a guy telling me he loves kids and the kind of married life he yearns to have. Creepy.

20) I'm in love with Momojiri! Exotic taste again.

The end.

Ok one more, I love myself enough to want to be better and not do anything silly even when the shittiest things happen. Think everyone else should too.

Still so much more to learn and discover about myself. Wonder what my future self will think of this list few years down the road.

Difficult decision

To quit or to stay.

Such a difficult decision to make.

More or less made up my mind.
So it's a matter of when.
