Gold Coast (Part 1)

Writing about this already make me miss the beach. The kangaroos. The koalas.
And the way things move at such slow pace.

I really wish my trip was longer but still thankful to have a break.
Get out of the country to relax for a while.

Day 0
Finished work. Rushed home. Had dinner. Rushed to airport.
Don't even have time to register any excitement.
Everything seems so surreal.

Me in my comfy outfit for the night flight.

Damn shag. Slept like a baby on the whole 8 hours flight.
Wanted very much to make full use of the flight entertainment but my eyelids wouldnt cooperate.

And thanks to Etihad for providing comfort food, comfy pillows and blankets. It's just sleep and wake up to eat and sleep and wake up to eat again and sleep. I dont have a picture but they even provide comfy socks and ear plugs! So very thoughtful <3 p="">

Day 1
So eat sleep eat sleep eat sleep and woke up to Australia in the morning!

Arrived at Brisbane Airport and took a coach transfer to Mantra Legends in Gold Coast. Was about an hour away.

So we wanted to stay away for the coach ride. To take in all the sceneries along the way to the hotel. Haha everything is paid with money might as well make every minute worth. Keep saying "Kuai dian kan Kuai dian kan, huan qian le" Lucky my companion shares the same cheap humour.

Gold Coast!
Cant wait to get to the beach. And I Sua Ku (country pumpkin mode) never see wild seagulls before.
Da-Ta!

Looks cute but actually pretty aggressive. Saw a few picking a fight and biting each other's head off.

Our shag face. was super windy on the beach.

The cliche saying that goes, leave nothing behind except foodprints.

And ours look pretty ugly compared to the seagulls'

Lots of different choices for food. We had our lunch in a nice and quiet restaurant. Vapiano. Kind of like a cafe setting. It's quite interesting. They have lots of potted plants inside.

Waiting for the girl to bring the food to me. Haha!

Went exploring for a bit then headed back to the hotel to book tours and rest for a bit. Everywhere I go, I must NUA. But really was quite tired. I didnt even realise i fell asleep for a while in the hotel.

Picked and selected a few tours and booked with the hotel. Saves all the hassle. Hotel Guest gets 10% off all tours! Thank you Mantra Legend and the friendly counter staffs.

We bought a unlimited access 3 day passes including Dream World, White Water World (the 2 are basically just next to each other and we figured we can do both in the same day) as well as Sky Point Observatory Deck. Sky Point was just a walk away and we headed over in the evening.

I must say the view is awesome!

I can stay up here forever! Im in love <3 nbsp="" p="">

Had time for some coffee.

Then it was back to snapping non-stop! But actually all look pretty similar.
Here's a few.

Everything look so dreamy to me. I mean MBS area is beautiful but it's nothing like that. Tiny little lights beaming through the dark.

And the good thing on top was we get to tap on free and fast wifi!
Hahaha so hard to get wifi over there.

Shall continue in a bit..
